Biography

Tom Murphy practices primarily in the areas of debtor/creditor law (including lien filings and lien enforcement actions (foreclosures), bankruptcies, and workouts), real estate litigation and transactions (including foreclosures, partition actions, and title issues), and banking and finance law. Most of his work has traditionally revolved around defaulted loans (typically secured by real estate), collections of contract/invoice amounts, and real estate title issues and disputes. Tom represents primarily financial institutions, lenders, and construction contractors, together with other businesses and individuals. He understands the necessity of prompt, decisive action to protect clients’ interests, coupled with dedicated attention to detail. He enjoys working with clients to provide the most cost-effective resolutions of their issues.
