- Civil litigation, in state and federal courts, including jury trial verdicts for business torts of more than a million dollars; successful defense of multimillion-dollar NASD claims; AAA construction arbitrations; property lien foreclosures; business dissolutions; shareholder derivative actions; fiduciary duty claims; disputes between banks regarding participation loans and share of losses due to fraud; fraudulent business transactions; property boundary disputes; declaratory judgment actions; defenses of government institutions; freight claims; and other civil litigation matters.
- Federal and state appellate litigation, including successfully overturning dismissals of several actions leading to later recoveries by the appellant.

- Before joining the firm in 1998, he practiced with the Georgia Legal Services Program, the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago, and the Louisville Legal Aid Society.
